Hello!
I teach Literacy and a class called "In My World" to kids grades 1-5 in a small school in rural Western Colorado, USA. On a good day, my job is to nurture and witness curiosity and creativity. The "In My World" class I teach involves running the school garden along with exploring different cultures, myths, and geography with the kids. Thus, I'm excited to share what postcards I receive with them. I live in a valley that is close to both mountain and desert environments. I enjoy hiking around and camping in both places. I've also had a garden for 23 years, since my first child was born. I needed to feed him fresh foods. I love plants- domestic and wild. I grow all kinds of stuff in my garden. My two sons are now young outdoorsy, adventurous adults. They love to snowboard, ski, mountain and rock climb.

I would love to learn and see anything about your culture (places -natural and landmarks, people, events, art, history, language, etc.) Anything! Truly, I will be pleased with whatever you wish to send.
