I live in sunny California, USA. I am married & have two sons, ages 23 & 20 who have bothe reached the accomplishment of "Eagle Scout". We have 3 dogs, 2 cats & 2 parakeets & a cute little hamster. I work the front office of a busy veterinary clinic, we treat only dogs & cats. My two cats were rescued as young kittens from my work.

I love animals of all kinds. I love to learn about birds. I am also a nature lover, beaches, forests & desert. I appreciate the dry, harsh conditions of the desert & then a beautiful flower grows on a cactus.

In my spare time I like to read books, with Stephen King & Paul Doiron being one of my favorite authors. I like to do word search puzzles as a quick way to pass the time while "waiting".

I have been sending Post Cards regularly to my friends and collect them on my daily travels. I figure, "who doesn't like to go to their Post Box & receive a hand written card!" It is nice to receive mail that is "fun" rather than a "bill" or "junk mail".

I like all types of postcards: funny, scenic, historical, art, animals and oddities. Please put the date on the card when you write it. I will scan the card the day it's received if it hasn't been already & I personally scan my written cards prior to mailing them out.

Please don't put your card ID number on the bottom of the card as this is where the US postoffice stamps their bar code and it can be difficult too read.
