About Mary...

Hi, I'm Mary!

I live in Kentucky, USA for right now but I used to live in Indonesia for 15 years. Therefore, I speak Indonesian fluently. The places that I had traveled are Indonesia (that counts, right?), Singapore, Malaysia, China (Hong Kong specifically), and USA. I am currently a college student in Northern Kentucky of University and studying Business & Spanish. My hobbies are playing ukulele, reading, listening to music (duh), eating (duh), watching movies, traveling, and many more. I write a personal blog and you can read it and say hello to me if you like to: www.maryvand.blogspot.com.

--- POSTCARD REFERENCE ---

As much as I love cartoons and cute pictures (hearts, patterns, sunflowers, etc), I prefer not to receive those kind of postcards. The reason why is because I'm more interested to get to know your country/city's stories and a little bit of your story, even though I still love cute pictures and cartoons. So, please don't send me those UNLESS if the cartoon/cute picture itself relates to your country :D And I also would love to get postcards of scenic, city photographs, and cultures (your culture's clothing, famous café in your city, culture dances, foods, etc).

I really like to get to know people's life so if you don't mind, please write the description of the postcard's image, a description of your country/city, and/or a little bit story of your life.

I'm interested with foreign language so if you do speak one (besides English & Indonesian), I would love to learn some simple phrases in your language and/or if you happened to write NOT in alphabetical letters, could you please write my name in your language handwriting? :D

Plus, if you speak/write in Spanish, I wouldn't mind to receive your postcard in Spanish since I'm currently studying the language and I would love to learn more if I could.

Thank you so much in advance and I'm looking forward to your postcard,

Mary Andrikus :)
