I'm a 45 year-old gringo (Anglo-American) originally from California and have lived in Miami for 8 years. I'm a (real) university history professor and imaginary anthropologist. I'm fascinated by travel, learning about and experiencing different cultures, peoples, environments, cities, places, cuisine, architecture.

I enjoy hearing about different peoples, what interests them, what makes them tick, how people understand the world around them. Anything you want to share is great.

I love to cook and learn new things. If you have a recipe to share, that would be wonderful. But anything unique about different parts of the world is great.
