Hello Postcrossers,
My name is Mariza and I live in California in the US. I enjoy growing and visiting succulent gardens (my favorite is at the Huntington Library in Pasadena). I started collecting postcards as I traveled to National Parks in the US, where each park has at least one special one-of-a-kind stamp, I would stamp the back of a postcard from the park and keep it as a souvenir for myself. I really liked the look of it so I started doing the same with extra postcards and sending them out to friends and family and share something about my trip so they could be involved in my travels.

I decided to join postcrossing because I love getting mail and like the creativity of decorating and writing postcards. I often get my own photography printed as postcards so some of my mail is very personal and tells a story of my travels and fun finds.

For senders: I particularly enjoy postcards that include a story of someone's travels, local food, Japan cards, food illustrations, succulents, Ferris wheels, plants, sunrises/ sunsets, artistic backgrounds from Disney movies, watercolors, and landscapes.
If the card has non-English text I would appreciate a translation to fully enjoy the card. I am limited to understanding of English and Spanish. If you use Instagram please include your username so I can tag you in my posts of incoming cards.
