Hi! Olá!

My name is Marcos, a 28-years-old brazilian guy. I'm a Biologist and I'm conducting my PhD in Plant Sciences.

Also, I love to travel to see the differences between my homeland and other cultures and environments. That's why I've joined Postcrossing: to know and see the world through the eyes of others.

There's some facts about me and my hobbies:

- I'm language enthusiastic! Now, I'm studying german, but I love how Finnish and Scandinavian languages sound!

- A bookworm through and through: Reading is one of my passions... Favorite authors? Always changing.... but Tolkien, Sagan and Rowling are always in my toplists... - Music? I use to play bass guitar and acoustic guitar. About genre, I'm pretty eclectic. From Abba to ZZ-Top, from Amadeus Mozart to Zé Ramalho (a brazilian singer).

- Plants, plants and plants! As a botanist, I really love Illustrations or pictures of flowers, trees, woods or anything related to the plant world.

- I love maps and cartography... I have a big South America map in my wall, where I pin places that I've been.
