I am a librarian at a university in Madison, Wisconsin. I love to travel, and I work a lot with books and maps in my job.

I collect map postcards, so if you can find a card with a map of your country or region/state, I would love to have it. I also like aerial views of cities.

I prefer a tourist postcard about the place where you live, or your culture. Some of my favorite postcards show people in traditional dress/costume, or members of indigenous groups or ethnic minorities, or peasants, farmers, or craftspeople. Or children.

I also like views of rustic life, traditional foods and beverages, historical towns, historic churches/monasteries/shrines/temples, or local, traditional architecture.

Beautiful nature views are nice, especially of mountains, deserts, or winter scenes. And I like birds (and other wildlife outside of North America).

I like art postcards of Madonna and child, or of Greek/Russian icons.

I like sports cards, especially ice hockey and baseball.

Send whatever you want, but please no ads or hand-made cards. Please no folded cards, I like postcards!
