Hello all! My name is Lucie, I turned 412in June After many yrs abroad in various countries and in Prague, I returned to my lovely little hometown, Rýmařov, in the Jeseníky Mountains, Czech Republic. I live with my partner and we used to have 2 dogs but my lovely beagle Ben had to be put asleep on May 28th 2022. That was also the reason to start with Postcrossing. I hoped it would help me to get over my mourning, as I used to be very agile in International Pen Friends...I am still in touch with a couple of people I started exchanging letters with when I was 12!

I graduated from Law School and practiced for several yrs, especially in IP Law but I went through burnout and had to leave the field. I still suffer from depression and anxiety. Postcrossing is a great therapy to try and keep me a little busy even though the day can be very tough. I speak quite a few languages! My side activity has been tour guiding for many years, I adore it and I decided to become a full time tourist guide. I love skiing, both downhill and nordic, hiking, long walks with dogs, building little dams for them on the creeks so they can take a dip in it, mushrooms picking, traveling, great wines, black tea, milk chocolate, visiting castles and chateaux.....

As I am a tour guide and traveler, please, send me simply a postcard from your area or someplace in your country that you like and recommend it and tell me a bit about it! This will make me very happy. I wish you would keep cards from all those specific now-so-popular series. I do not really appreciate them and since they are quite expensive, keep them for those who do. I would be happy also to get no no cartoon cards, no affirmation cards, animals.....good old picture of your landscape or town is unbeatable!
