Hello, from Yoakum, Texas :) I would be happy to send - or receive - a postcard from anyone in the world. I do not have favorite postcards because I enjoy every postcard I receive ! I enjoy reading, writing, sarcastic wit, all genres of music, spending time with friends and family, humour, cooking, swimming, the ocean, unique people, crazy people, learning about other cultures and traditions, random acts of kindness,and travel. I have a strong interest in ALL religions so don't be shy about your beliefs. Postcards of Churches, Mosques, Shrines, Temples, Synagogues, Missions, etc... would be great....but any card you send is fine.

I'm inspired by Mother Teresa. I wish I had the funds to travel more. It would be a dream come true for me if I were able to visit the Holy Land. I have 4 children - two sons and two daughters. I work as a Nurse with Alzheimer's patients.

Yoakum, Texas is known as " The Leather Capitol of The World. " Many beautiful wallets, handbags, belts, saddles and boots are made here. Yoakum is also often referred to as " The Hub City " because we are aproximately 100 miles from Austin, San Antonio, Houston and Corpus Christi, Tx. Population is approximately 7,000.
