I'm a zoologist and a lecturer at our local university, and occasionally a high school science teacher. I live with my husband Jason (also a Postcrosser), our bearded dragons Echo and Blue, and our rescue dogs - Lab/Terrier mix Kallie and German Shepherd/Malinois mix Keera. :) I teach freshman biology labs for the university and I'm also the managing animal keeper for our education animal collection. We have quite a collection: Cooter the River Cooter, Sheldon the African Sideneck, Lemon and Berry the Box Turtles, Grandpa the Texas Toad, Irwin and Darwin the African Dwarf Frogs, Raphael the Red Eared Slider, and Bullet the Spiny Catfish. We also have our Madagascar Hissing Cockroach colony called The Borg, tons of guppies, and a small collection of venomous snakes native to Oklahoma.Before I started teaching I worked as a zookeeper, veterinary technician, and scientist in a diagnostic pathology lab.

I love nature, hiking, camping, mountains, landscapes, landmarks, wildlife, horses (I have an 20yo bay Quarter Horse cross named Deebo), road trips, and learning about new places. Traveling is a big part of my life, and I collect post cards from wherever I go.

I love views of cities or landmarks or landscapes.
I also love unique cards that are vintage or artsy.
