My name is Lori. I’m 52. I am a widow, who shares my home with two completely insane cats, one exasperated golden retriever and the best roommate on the planet.

I've lived in Washington, DC since I was 22. I fell in love with the city on a spring break vacation my senior year of college, and never looked back. It's a frustrating city, to be sure, but in a very real way, it's home.

I like going on cruises, watching TV and playing board games. I read a lot of books. I vote democrat. I nap whenever the opportunity presents itself. Recently, I've been trying to learn to meditate.

I would love to see postcards which show your country, famous landmarks, or something that makes your town special. Please let me know how your life is today...I love knowing about holidays you celebrate, or what a typical day is like, or food you love, or even how the weather is where you are.

If you are in Spain...I do love Rafael Nadal. I don't know if there is such thing as a Rafa postcard, but I would love to receive one if there is. Tennis postcards showing other players, or famous courts in your country would also be appreciated!

I'd also love a Dr. Who postcard, really from anywhere.
