Really, it doesn't matter, those are just suggestions!

If you prefer to sent your postcard in an envelope, feel free to do it. I'll be glad if you add anything into the envelope besides the postcard, e.g. a front page from your local newspaper or magazine, a coin, some used stamps, a tea bag (♥) or something like that. But it isn't necessary! :)
