I love to travel and have a long list of places that I would still like to see. Since I can't visit everywhere that I would like to right away, Postcrossing helps me to "virtually" see the world.

I like to cook, but I prefer to bake as it is an activity that helps me to relax and unwind. Putting together puzzles, meditation, and yoga do that as well.

I really enjoy a good book, although I rarely have time to sit down and read one. Most of the time I do my "reading" by listening to audio books while traveling to and from work and my various activities. I absolutely love to listen to someone tell me a story.

I am a high school French teacher and a huge francophile. I go to France as often as I am able.

I love dark chocolate, espresso, and single malt whisky.

I live in Northern California near Sacramento in the U.S. I am currently building myself a "tiny house". It is 28 ft by 8 ft. I hope to complete it and move into it this year.

I have a grown son whom I adore. He's my favorite person on the planet. I also have a kitten named Bijou. She can be cute and sweet, and also a bit of a terror.
