Hi. I'm Lauren! I just turned 30, and I am married to Josh. We have two pups - River (Golden Retriever) and Banjo (Chocolate Lab). I'm a teleworking engineer by day. Aquarius. INFJ. We love finding new adventures and have lived in Alabama, Texas, Hawaii, and Virginia. We hope to expand to living in a foreign country soon. Some other interests of mine are:
- MUSIC/CONCERTS - Music is one of my favorite activities to heal your soul and connect you to other people. We are going to Hulaween for the first time this year (2018)!
- NATURE - Nature is a very spiritual experience for me. National parks are my happy place. I love to travel, backpack, kayak, road trip, walk in the woods, etc. I especially love butterflies, bees, trees, and the moon.
- YOGA and METAPHYSICAL PRACTICES - Turning 30 has launched me on a journey to mindfulness and true presence. I am a new yogi, and I am also interested in crystal healing, chakra healing, and other metaphysical practices.
- FESTIVALS - I love celebrating something unique. It's so fun to be among like-minded people and share a day celebrating.
- ART - I have dabbled in artsy things for my entire life and consider myself a decent potter, creative journalist, and letterer. Right now, I'm learning watercolor and love attempting to paint wildflowers, motivational quotes, and bright patterns.
- BOOKS - I read most genres but especially love sci-fi/fantasy and historical fiction. I also love non-fiction about the Romanovs. There's just something about a good book that soothes the mind.
- GYMNASTICS - I grew up as a competitive gymnast and am still very active. I love running and have done a few triathlons.
- GILMORE GIRLS - best TV show of all time. I have watched it through at least 7 times.

I believe in genuine connections, pure motives, and true friendship. And I believe that these exist far more than we sometimes realize if we are stuck in our own world. I look forward to getting to know people of all cultures and walks of life through Post Crossing!
