I joined postcrossing after a friend told me how much fun he was having exchanging cards with random strangers from around the world. We are all connected, if only by some tiny fact. Maybe we both like mangoes, or enjoy playing with puppies. Perhaps you love black tea as much as I do or we both dislike coffee. Here are some of my favorite things: photographing odd angles, hiking, playing in nature, all animals, long walks on the ocean front, goat cheese or brie on home baked bread, traveling and meeting new people, cooking and laughing with friends, discussing philosophy, bird watching - raptors especially, reading (non-fiction mostly), storytelling, re-purposing items into new functional items, learning about new technology, all things science related, computers (get called a "geek" almost daily), filming the great outdoors, music festivals, wearing vegan Birkenstock's, walking to the edge of high places and taking pictures of my feet dangling over the sides, hugging giant Redwood trees, promoting healthy lifestyles, trying different chocolates from all over the world and volunteering in my community. It would be great if you shared one thing you think we have in common. I am going to make a map of these common connections.

I look forward to hearing about different parts of the world. Any type of postcard is welcome, but I prefer not to get ones with ads on them. Something that seems beautiful to you will have more meaning to me. And please stamp the postcard rather than using an envelope. Cheers~
