About krisleigh...

Hello! I am a mother of three beautiful kids. We like to go on adventures mostly to the park and our friend's houses, but we, also, love to explore our fascinating state of Utah, the beautiful scenery of Idaho, and the glorious California beach. I hope one day to travel to the eastern half of the United States, and to go outside of the country as well.

I am a musician and a writer. I have been playing the piano since I was four, and have picked up other instruments along the way, as well as singing. That being said, I am not strictly in love with classical music, but rather love a whole range of music from romantic to electronic to rock. I have been an avid writer since elementary school, and currently have a blog, where I write about the everyday things that interest me. I plan on pursuing a journalism degree in the future, and am very excited to see where that takes me in life.

My hobbies right now are gardening and cooking, which I think go hand in hand. I love to eat garden fresh produce, so I have learned how to cook it well. I find great pleasure from working in my yard and feeding my family healthy, delicious meals. My favorite fruit is peaches, and my favorite vegetable is zucchini. I love Italian food. My favorite dish at the moment is Italian wedding soup.

I am a firm believer in the gospel of Jesus Christ. I know that God, our Heavenly Father, sent his son, Jesus, to this Earth to suffer for our sins that we may return to Him some day. I believe that families are eternal, and we will be together forever. I find great joy from serving others in any way I can find.

I am so excited to receive your postcard. As far as what I like goes, my favorites is a good place to start, but generally there you'll find churches, trains, and the artistically beautiful. I do, also, love nature and map cards, but the best part of all is showing my kids that we got another postcard, so it's all fun. Happy Postcrossings!
