About Kylie...

Leisure-seeker by day, journalist by night and blogger for It's Not About The Numbers geocaching website in between.
But if you want to know more ...
Home is Wellington, New Zealand, where I live with my boyfriend of 16 years and our English Staffordshire bull terrier puppy Coca in an old abandoned school. Each night I head off to work at major daily newspaper The Dominion Post as its head page designer - as well as helping out on seven other newspapers as a subeditor.
Likes include geocaching and lost places; the Steampunk era, anything retro or Kiwiana; collecting NZ Railway china, and prints by Tretchikoff, Golding and JH Lynch from the 1950s-1970s. Also rating a mention are: crafts, gadgets, music, movies, photography and reading. Oh, and did I mention geocaching?
In my spare time I make jewellery, knit, take photographs and am writing a children's book. But mostly I can be found head down in a bush somewhere looking for my next geocache find or exploring an abandoned ruin.
Postcard-wise, I'd enjoy offbeat or vintage/historic cards, cityscapes, Americana etc. NO advertising cards, though, please. Anything geocaching, lost place or GPS-related would be a MAJOR bonus.
As a child, I collected postcards so I have a large box of treasures to send out. In return, my letterbox is at your mercy.

NB: If you're looking for Hobbit postcards, YES I'm happy to do a direct swap.
