About Katherine...

Hello new friends!

I am Katherine and I live outside of Denver, Colorado. I work as a nanny for a family with two young children, a boy and a girl, who bring me great joy. I have 2 cats that I adore and love to come home to them each day after work. In my free time, I love to bake, exercise, read, play card/board games, travel and spend time with friends and family.

My wish list for cards:
-Greetings From (postallove.com) I have already received Aland Islands, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Canada, Czech Republic, Finland, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Hungary, Indonesia, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Russia, Singapore, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, Turkey, United Kingdom, United States, Vatican City, Venezuela. ***These cards are my first choice and my favorite. If you have one I don’t have yet, please consider it for me!
-Cats
-Animals
-Desserts--I have a huge sweet tooth and I bake regularly.
-Ice cream

-Lou Paper (I have Arizona, California, Maryland, Michigan, Oklahoma, Texas, St. Patrick's Day, Donuts, Stars & Stripes, Fall Garden, Postal-themed, Fruits, Americana, Birthday, and Cheeseboard.)

***Please no meet-up cards. It’s better to save them for others who really want them.

I love postcrossing and I hope you’ll give my card a few minutes of quality time. The whole process is fun for me; picking out cards to send, decorating and writing messages specific to each person, and receiving cards from around the world. Your message is as important to me as the card you choose. I love to hear about you and your life. In that moment, we are friends and the distance is not so great between us. Please, please, write more than happy postcrossing. I know some of you may not feel very comfortable with your English but there is no judgement coming from me. I’d love to hear about you, your family, what you do for work and fun, something that makes you happy. Do you have a favorite inspirational quote? What’s something on your bucket list that you hope to do in your lifetime? What are traditional desserts in your country? What’s your favorite? I enjoy seeing different washi tape, stickers and hand-drawn bits of artwork but hope it won’t completely take the place of a message from you!

While I’m not on postcrossing to discuss politics or religion, what I will say is this--I welcome you all to the United States and believe we should spread more kindness, compassion and love in this world. Let us share joy and celebrate our differences.
