About Kim...

*note* Just wanted to make sure that people know about 2 special USA stamps which may not look special at first! (1) The black circle Total Solar Eclipse stamp (USA) is heat sensitive! If you touch the black circle with warm hands, then the moon will appear. (But if it's already hot all the time where you live, or summertime, then you might have to put the stamp/card into a cool place, like the refrigerator, to turn black again before you can try it out! It's a little sad to hear that people have received this stamp but had no idea that it was special in this way! ALSO (2) the small "frozen treats" / popsicle stamps are scented! They are "scratch and sniff" and if you scratch them and smell, then they have a fruit scent. Hopefully the fragrance survives the travel. :-)

also, note to people of the world: very sorry about Trump... not sure how that happened...! :-/

So, hello! I am a chiropractor in San Francisco and enjoy all things postal. I enjoy going to film festivals, opera and traveling alone or with my son and/or my boyfriend. :-) I live part-time in Sacramento, too, now that I've bought a little house there. (SF is too expensive for middle-class people to buy a home.) On my SF days, I go to the beach every morning before work to start the day on a good note. You can see pictures of my beach mornings on my Instagram page: _kimakoi_

Do you believe in ghosts? Please tell me your ghost story! If you have seen / heard / felt a ghost, tell me about it! (Or if not, something else spooky. Have you seen a UFO? Aliens? Angels? Devils?)

If you can't think of anything, draw a little picture of yourself (even a stick figure!) - even if you are a horrible artist, I love these cute little pictures..!

Some favorite postcard themes:
* strange, oddball things
* spooky things
* sycamore trees
* vintage
* deities from all traditions, "good" or "bad"
* peacocks
* Freddie Mercury
* dark humor
* tattoos
* beautiful things
* LGBTQ (FYI - I am the T, B and Q in that alphabet soup)
* cats (who doesn't like cat pictures?!)
* ? ? ?

ALSO: if you are a stamp collector, let me know - I have a lot of stamps which I save in a little box, but I'm not really a collector myself... I guess I save them to send to other people who do collect. But now my little box is full! I can't promise specific stamps, but if you don't mind random stamps from random places then I'm happy to share. Happy Postcrossing!
