I'm a music teacher who has lived in many places (Washington State, Montana, Northern and Southern California, Australia, Texas, and Illinois).

I have two adult children, a husband, and two poodles who are seizure support dogs for one of my children.

Currently, I am collecting heritage information on various sides of my family, putting together some family history and family stories before the oldest generation passes on. It proves that everyone has an interesting story to tell.

I love trying new recipes, meeting new people, talking to strangers, all kinds of travel, getting lost and calling it an "adventure", and reading biographies.

I have family members who experience the challenges of bipolar disorder, as well as epilepsy, so these have been my newest research projects, in hopes that I can understand it better and support these loved ones well. Great info on kids can be found at: www.bpkids.org

When I travel to new locations, I always buy a few postcards, which is why this project appealed to me.....sending postcards is right down my alley.
