Hello! My name is Kassondra and I'm from the United States. I'm a freelance travel writer and typically travel a lot for work, but like everyone else, I'm staying at home until it's safe to travel again. I've been living in Mexico City since February and love this city so much! The architecture is beautiful, the food is amazing, and I've really enjoyed walking around to see murals in my neighborhood.

Since we're all stuck at home for now, I'd love to hear a little bit about what life is like right now in your city. What did you do today? What's the most interesting thing you've seen from your window? What do you miss most? What are you most excited for right now? What has brought you joy?

You could also share the name of your favorite book, or your favorite poem, in your own language. If you prefer to write a letter instead of sending a postcard, I would love that!

I can read and write in Spanish, too, so please write to me in Spanish if you speak it as well! I'm trying to practice.

I'm happy to receive any postcards, because what you write is more important to me than the picture on the card. But here are some things I like:

Nature scenes
Plants (Cactus, flowers, trees, cool and unusual plants)
Foxes!!!
Cute animals
Life in your city
Illustrations of places and maps
Anything that makes you smile or laugh

I also like postcards of historic places with a little description of why that place is important.

But choose something that means something to you! I will be happy with anything :)
