I teach English Literature in a secondary school (11-16 year olds), it was always my desire to teach and I love my job but it does give me plenty of stress.
In my spare time I go to the gym and enjoy trying out different crafts.
I am an avid reader, reading all different types of fiction from classics to contemporary YA, gothic fiction to children's fiction. Recently I have started collecting/buying some book related memorabilia, simple things such as postcards and bookmarks, purses, cups and jewellery, I seem to have quite a selection of Alice in Wonderland items at the moment, including a variety of Alice inspired postcards.
I also am a bookcrosser.

I live in a small fishing village in the east of England, but I'm fairly close to bigger cities such as as London and Cambridge.
I'm excited in being part of postcrossing as I love sending and receiving little items in the post, I'm also really interested in finding out more about:
- different places and cultures,
- about daily life elsewhere
- people's favourite quotes/top 5 books/ a snippet of a poem
- travel recommendations for your country

Send any postcard you'd like to receive, I really like postcards with:
- books (especially Alice in Wonderland, people reading)

- Mystical creatures (fairies, imps etc.)
- Vintage postcards
- Trees
- maps
- papercuttings
