My wife and I are retired. We have been living in College Station, Tx for the past 3 years. I was in the Air Force so we have lived in many different locations. Outside of the USA we have lived in the Philippines, Germany, and Iceland. Within the USA we have lived in these states: Connecticut, North Carolina, Mississippi, Kansas, New York, Washington, Louisiana, and now Texas.

We have 2 grown boys and 2 grandchildren (both boys). Our favorite pastime is spoiling our grandchildren and of course sending them back to their parents at the end of the day.

Our hobbies include collecting PEZ dispensers, coins, and stamps. We collect for fun so none of our collections are very extensive. If you can put an interesting stamp on your postcard that would be a plus.

We stay active by walking, hiking, and bicycling. We also have a small vegetable garden. My wife likes to feed birds in our backyard.

We like to travel. Part of our travel adventures include cruising. We have been on several cruises to the Caribbean and one cruise in the Mediterranean. Soon we will be taking a cruise along the California coast and into Mexico.

Since we are new to postcrossing, any interesting postcard would be fine with us. Here's a few areas that I think we would find especially interesting:

-Maps: Map of anyplace (city, region, zoo, park, old, school campus, tourist, etc.)

Interesting pictures specific to the area you live in or may have visited.
-Buildings
-Bridges
-Parks
-Events (holidays, parades, festivals, art/music shows, etc.)
-Local beers, wines, drinks
-restaurants, pubs
-landscape
-beaches, ports
-people
-markets

art (wildlife, landscape, seascape, pets)
humorous
transportation
sports
whatever appeals to you

Love to hear something personal about you or your family: favorite food, drink, sports (fan or player), pastime, tv show, and the list could go forever.
