About Jan...

Hello! Ahoj! Witaj! Привіт! Привет!

!!!2024 Challenge: classical music composers of your home country!!!

I am 34 y.o. guy originally coming from Slovakia, but I have been living in Czech Republic already for many years (almost a half of my life). My work is to cut people - anyway, don't be affraid, I am neither serial killer nor member of sect sacrificing people - just a regular surgeon!

It has passed several years since I joined this project. I did it because I found the idea of sending/recieving postcards from around the world just brilliant: It's a big rarity to recieve anything by snail mail in this hectic IT time, when everybody relies on speed of emails or social networks. But I have no doubts, that each of us has a piece of his/her childhood, when days were long and no real threats bothered us, still hidden somewhere deep in soul and I also believe, that even such a small piece of paper like postcard can make us think about those days again with smile on our faces.

So I will be glad not only to recieve a postcard from you, but mailny if you have fun of sending it, or just if you think about that world, which was less complicated - about world we used to live in.

>>>>>I will be extremely glad, if you send me a postcard, which is somehow connected with town or area you are living in - e.g. cityspace, landscape, interesting buildings or objects in your city/area (UNESCO Heritage objects but not necessarily), nature (peaks, mountains, rivers, lakes, valleys..), simply everything interesting, which surrounds you and you want to share with me! <<<<<

I would like to ask you to send me postcards with more than one "universal" sentence - there probably won't be better opportunity to contact each other in the future, so please use this small piece of paper as best as you can - I always do! Postcrossing for me is not only about postcards, but also about people who are sending them. One wise man once said: "Postcorssing is not about collecting, just connecting" - and I agree with that in 100%.

SO I really wish to connect with YOU via postcard! You can write anything, share your feelings, toughts, wishes, fears, achievements, defeats etc. If you really don't know what to write, tell me about your favourite book, movie, song, food, drink or country/language/culture you like the most and why. Share at least a little with me please!

Please don't hesitate to write me in some of other languages I speak too. It is not necessary to use English all the time especially if you are native speaker of another language. Especially if you are writing in Cyrillic alphabet - I have a big passion for it - use it! Anyway I will appreciate as well if you write me even in your native language even though I don't speak it. Google translator will help me to understand you!

Jeżeli jesteś Polakiem/Polką, pisz śmiało po polsku!
Якщо ти з України, напишить мені, будь ласка, українською мовою!

Thank you for every postcard you sent me!
HAPPY POSTCROSSING!
