Hello out there!
My name is Jay. I'm 58 and teach 6-8 year olds at a little school in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado. I grew up in South Dakota, the state where Mt. Rushmore is located. Mt. Rushmore is the mountain with the faces of four United States Presidents carved into it.

In my spare time I like to run long distance races.
Are you a runner? My goal is to run a 50 mile race this summer. I've managed 43 miles so far. I also like woodworking and photography.

I've been doing Postcrossing for about a year and am looking forward to hearing from you. I've never had a chance to travel much outside of the U.S., so this is a wonderful way for me to get to see more of the world. Send me a postcard of something that is special to you or your area. If I were to come to where you live, what would you want me to see? If you have a card with your country's flag, that would be great too.

ps I just received an envelope from Betty, in China, but it has no ID # on it. The envelope had 3 cards in it. One was a photo card of Jing Po Lake in Hei Long Jiang Province. If you sent these great cards, please send me the ID # so I can register them. :-)
