About Jamie...

My name is Jamie, and I am an artist and set decorator. I am originally from Wisconsin. I currently live in Los Angeles, CA, and lived in San Francisco, CA for 5 years before moving to LA.

I'm a collector. I've been collecting stamps and coins since I was young. I also collect old science field guide books. I like old things, especially vintage paper ephemera. I also like to organize things, and enjoy images of things that are organized neatly.

My postcard wish list:

-Maps of your city/town/county/state/country
-Transit/Metro maps

Nature:
-Native plants and flowers from your region
-Wildlife, especially birds, native to your region
-Charts of birds or flowers
-Rocks and shells from you region
-Interesting land formations: rock formations, mountains, shorelines

Food:
-Pictures of food dishes that are popular there
-Recipes for traditional foods
-Charts of foods/drinks from there (wines/cheeses/etc)
-Pictures of kitchens, restaurants, or cafe
-Old pictures of people having a picnic or dinning

Scenes of your city/town/country:
-Cathedrals/Temples/Mosque
-Bridges
-Museums
-Homes
-Markets
-Street views
-Aerial views
(I prefer single view vs multi-view)

Other:
-Charts of things particular to your country: currency, cultural objects, etc
-Folk art or textiles
-People on bicycles
-People in traditional costumes
-Folk dancing

Cards from the USA:
-I am trying to collect all 50 states in map postcards, so I would LOVE to get them if ya got them!
-Any sort of vintage "Greetings From..." cards
-Flowers/Birds/Animals from your state
-Regional foods and recipes
-Bridges

Although the above is my wish list, I am excited to see whatever comes my way!

Also, if you could date the postcard and write a fact about where you live that would be great. I love learning new and interesting bits of information!

Thanks so much!
