I'm a new professor at an institution of higher education in Florida. I am also a doctoral student, ABD, writing my dissertation on 18th century Spain. My love for writing hand-written letters with fountain pens came from admiring the handwriting on old documents in dusty archives in Madrid and Sevilla. I have a French Bulldog named "Doctor" who snores, burps, sneezes, and farts. He's a doll. I love playing chess, fountain pens, taking photographs, cooking, traveling, and reading.

I don't have any postcard preference, but the weirder the better. :-) Surprise me.

I just received an envelope from China with an advertisement in it and without any message. This defeats the purpose of PostCrossing. Please don't send ad cards, or anything in envelopes. If you do send an ad card, I will likely toss it in the trash without registering it.
