About Jen...

**Please note that I will be unable to send any cards for the foreseeable future. All of my cards and stamps are locked up in our classroom, and our schools are shut down through the end of the academic year. Stay safe and healthy, everyone!!**

My name is Jen. I'm a photographer, wife, and mother of two wonderful young men. I am also a tutor working with high school students in an alternative education school. I am doing this Postcrossing project with my students so that they can learn a bit more about other countries. Most of them will never have the means to travel outside of the United States, so I would like to share with them my love of travel by bringing a little bit of the world to them.

We would prefer to have cards that are written on and not in envelopes. And we would also like to see stamps from your country instead of metered postage, if possible.

We would love cards featuring any of the following:

Landscapes - show us how beautiful your country is!
Architecture
Musical instruments
Theatre
Children's book illustrations
Umbrellas
Butterflies
Vintage ad cards
Lighthouses
Famous landmarks from your country
Yummy-looking food
Black & white photos of people
Funny animals
Traditional costumes of your country
Natural phenomena - waterfalls, rainbows, tornadoes, volcanoes, etc.
Anything related to books, bookshelves, or old bookstores
Funny signs
Cameras or photography

If you don't have any of the above, just send us your favorite card from your post card stash!

As much as we love looking at the picture side of the postcards, we also really like reading the back! We are looking forward to learning a little bit about you and where you live. Please share with my students a custom or tradition or just an interesting fact about your country. If you can't think of anything else to say, just tell us a joke, a story, a secret, your favorite quote, or what you had for dinner! :)

We also love learning about new languages, so it would be nice to see some words or a sentence in your language - please translate it, too!

If you are from the U.S., please tell us one place we should visit in your state. It could be a tourist attraction, a restaurant, a park, anything!

Thank you, and Happy Postcrossing!

Jen
