I live in one of the major cities in the Highveld, which is the high plateau region of inland South Africa famous for its diamond and gold deposits. Although we live and work in the city, our family owns a small game farm with various species of antelope and other big game which we get to visit often.

I'm married with small kids and would like to use Postcrossing to teach them more about other people, places, and cultures. And perhaps encourage them to write more letters themselves one day.

I prefer cards to be stamped and written with a few words about yourself rather than sent in an envelope. It's just a preference but the best cards for me would be showing where you live and perhaps commenting on what you like best about your hometown, area, country, or life perhaps? Or maybe places you have visited and what made them special for you.
