About jazlyn...

Hello! I am in my 30s, married, and have a 9-year-old son. My main interests/activities are cooking/baking, creating art (lately handmade postcards), collecting things and sometimes using them in my art (like used postage stamps and vintage playing cards), playing board games, gardening, and reading. I also enjoy, but do not have the opportunity to do much climbing (I'm a beginner), camping, traveling and researching places to visit. Someday I hope to visit London and Paris. So far the countries I've traveled to include Canada, Mexico, Spain, Monaco, Italy, Vatican City, and Vietnam.

In general, I like postcards that are colorful and/or artsy. Here are some more types of cards I would probably enjoy receiving:
- whole country map cards or other map cards
- major tourist attractions from where you live or visited... or a card depicting something notable from your city/town
- an illustrated view of your city/town
- murals and street art from where you live, or from places you visited (If you know any information like who the artist is, the title, year, etc. please let me know.)
- art you have seen in a museum or gallery and liked
- art you like created by an artist from your country
- colorful illustrations
- mail-related (mail/postboxes from your country, envelopes, etc.)
- libraries, books/reading
- cats and woodland animals (e.g. owl, hedgehog, chipmunk, squirrel, foxes, etc.)
- fruits, vegetables, your local foods, sweets/baked goods (prefer illustrations rather than photos)
- botanical and gardening related art/illustrations: flowers, succulents, seeds, etc.
- nature (e.g. a national park in your country or one you have visited)
- I have seen a lot of people mentioning GF or Greetings From postcards. Are these vintage reprints or something else?
- ones like my favorites: http://www.postcrossing.com/user/jazlyn/gallery/favourites (The cards in my favorites are ones I have not received.)

You are welcome to send anything you like though! Please write a message on your card. I'd love to hear about where you live, places nearby that you'd recommend to visitors, the local food(s) you like, your plans for the day, a few words in your language (and the translation in English), or whatever's on your mind. :)

Lastly, I would appreciate it if you use real postage stamps to mail your postcard. If it's not too much trouble/doesn't cost you extra, I'd be happy if you sent your card written, but inside an envelope to protect it from being damaged and so I can get the stamp(s) because I collect them.

Thank you very much!
