I am 63 years old, retired from a job selling industrial products for an international company.

I have collected postcards for about 30 years. I started collecting with my husband's enthusiastic blessing; he collected stamps and postmarks. I bought my first card at a stamp show. The first postcard I ever bought was of a fanny - a linen card from the 1940s, with the words "that's all folks" on it. It made me laugh. I have a huge collection of "fanny" "butt" or "rear-end" postcards.

I love funny or comic cards. If your card makes me laugh I will treasure it forever. However, there has never been a postcard I didn't like, so any and all are welcome. I especially like cards of unusual or different things. I also like the "free" or "go" advertising postcards. I like to learn about customs that are different from the USA.

Before my husband passed away, we had a business where we reproduced old postcards and made them into greeting cards and framed prints, which we sold to shops for resale. They were all historical views of our local area, Buffalo and Niagara Falls, NY.

Our children are grown -- I have two daughters, two step-children, ten grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. I live in the suburbs between Niagara Falls and Buffalo, NY in a cape cod style house with a small yard. I have plastic fish for pets.... I know, I know, but I am DONE taking care of anything, or anybody, even a pet. I have houseplants I'm not that sure about!
