Hi, I'm Cornelius!

During the Corona pandemic I rediscovered Postcrossing and started it again - after nine years being inactive. Also, I moved from Berlin (Germany) to São Paulo (Brazil). I'm happy to be here again and hope to share some beautiful postcards from this wonderful metropolis!

When not working (for an NGO) or studying (African Studies), I do a lot for Wikipedia, the all-known internet encyclopaedia, where I write Wikipedia articles about Berlin, São Paulo, or Mozambique (where I have lived for a while).

I love writing letters and postcards – and of course receiving them is a pleasure as well. I don't like blank, trash or ugly touristic multiview postcards, anything else is fine! :) Also, as I moved recently to a new apartment, so I'm looking for some postcards to decorate my room.

I'd adore to receive postcards related to music (pop/rock/ or any other) books or book/comic characters (Spirou & Fantasio, Marsupilami, Tintin & Milou (!!!), Asterix, etc.), underground trains or stations or just something funny. I would be incredibly happy, if I get a Mumin or a Pettersson & Findus postcard!! But also animals or flowers are absolutely fine :) Let's say, in general, I prefer arty/artistic ones (drawn or photos) over tourist postcards.

Tell me little things about you or the place where you live; it's the small details that I enjoy the most. :) What keeps you busy? What was the last Wikipedia article you read?
