I am a wife, mother, and full-time nurse. I'm easy going and open-minded. I'm just starting out and don't have a large collection, but I am absolutely loving this and look forward to many years of exchanging postcards and learning about other people, cultures, and other states or countries.
I have never traveled outside the United States, and have only been to the Gulf Coast states, and Tennessee, Kentucky, and South Carolina. I would love to travel in the future, but until then postcards are my way of escaping everyday life, expanding knowledge of cultures and customs around the world, and interacting with new people.
I absolutely LOVE lighthouses, trains or related, castles, religious buildings (churches, mosques, cathedrals), macabre, and scenic views. I also love nature scenes, map cards, greetings from, FOTW, Blue Cats, city views, historical landmarks, city/state/country card with the name on the front, anything odd or unusual/unique.
Please include the date on your postcard along with a quote or something about yourself or where you live. I love learning about other cultures and the differences in everyday life in other parts of the country and the world.
For USA members, I am trying to collect state map cards and am currently missing: AR, CO, DE, ID, IA, KY, LA, ME, MN, MI, NV, NH, NM, NC, OH, SC, SD, UT, WA, WI, and WY. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
