Hi! I'm Abby, known across the internet as itsabbynormal.

I'm a published romance author, professional wedding photographer, type 1 diabetic #insulin4all, enneagram 6w7, ADHD-haver, exvangelical, and millennial currently living in the desert in southern Utah, USA. My husband Allen and I have been married since 2010! We have a dog named Taz (he's on Instagram @tazthechihuahua).

The most amazing places I've ever traveled to are:
- The Cliffs of Moher (Ireland)
- Zion National Park (Utah, USA)
- Sleeping Bear Dunes (Michigan, USA)
- Anchorage (Alaska, USA)

Bucket list places include:
- Iceland
- Japan
- St. Kitts & Nevis
- Svalbard
- Estonia
- Australia
- Saint Helena
But honestly, I'd travel anywhere -- life is too short and the world is too beautiful to be picky.

Fun facts:
- I joined Twitter in 2006 when it was still in beta. It was still called TWTTR back then and I still have and use my original username - @orbingpunk
- I published my first book in 2018 and my second in 2023 with plans for three more
- As a child I was a competitive go-kart racer and pageant model

- Photography. I'm a Nikon digital shooter but I also shoot 35mm film!
- The color orange is my favorite but I also love purple, green, and pink

- Hockey, specifically Detroit Red Wings and Vegas Golden Knights! LGRW!
- The band Mae (my favorite songs are The Sun & the Moon, Summertime, Bloom, and Simple Words). Other artists I love are Thomston, Halsey, Jimmy Eat World, Death Cab for Cutie, Jack's Mannequin, MisterWives, and Dodie.
- Graphic design. I am learning how to design! I am loving the vintage revival that is currently happening. Give me everything 70s-00s fusion.
