I was born and raised in West Virginia, spent almost 10 years in England, and now live in Georgia. With two kids, I'm not able to travel as often or as far as I'd like. When I do travel, though, I feel compelled to buy postcards. Now I've found an outlet for sending them.

I embrace new technology, but have a fondness for "old school" tech: I have a collection of fountain pens, just fixed up an old manual typewriter, and still have cameras that use actual rolls of film and books that have pages made of paper.

I studied German in high school, but have easily forgotten far more than I have remembered. I think I could comfortably order a meal and not be too surprised with what I receive. The same with French, though that is the result of multiple visits while living in England :)
