Hello! I'm an enthusiastic world traveler, and I've just moved back home from St. Petersburg, Russia, where I taught English for a year. I love meeting people all around the world and making connections, and I love hearing about daily lives in different cultures.

Living in St. Petersburg gave me the marvelous opportunity to cultivate my new love of ballet. I went to 6 ballets, and to the opera Madama Butterfly (my favorite!). I've also been a fan of musicals for a long time. My love affair with "Phantom of the Opera" started in 2nd grade, and in January I went to Germany to see "Elisabeth," my favorite German musical. I'm also a big fan of Les Miserables, Wicked, 1776, and many more.

I'm always reading one or two books at any given moment, and thanks to a daily commute of an hour and a half on the metro, I've been getting a lot of reading done. My favorites are: The Phantom of the Opera, Les Miserables (detecting a pattern?) Peter Pan, The Brothers K, Peace Like a River, The Westing Game, Rebecca, Jane Eyre, Watership Down and The Fountainhead.

I like a variety of music, but I especially enjoy movie soundtracks.
