Hello,
My name is Christine, I am a Wildland firefighter for the New Mexico State Forestry Department. I work in the summers fighting forest fires and in the Fall and the Winter I home school my 4 children. I live in Rio Rancho, NM near the Rio Grande and Sandia Mountains. New Mexico is famous for its Green Chiles that come from Hatch, NM. We have many mountains, mesas, and canyons that create some of the most desolate and stunning scenery. We have 4 seasons here with bitterly cold winter nights, windy spring time, hot dry summers and the most wonderful fall time. I like to hike, kayak, sew, cook and travel to remote places in the desert Southwest of the United States.
I am always eager to receive postcards and letters in the mail. I love to meet new people and hear about what they are doing in their everyday lives. I enjoy hearing what others do for a living, what they enjoy in their free time, and even what's for dinner. I enjoy seeing the temperature and date on the postcard too. Please tell me something about you or your family and where you are from if you like. I love to read the cards to my children and well keep track of where our postcards are from on a big world map in the house.

handmade postcards
