About Becky...

Hello There!

My name is Becky, you can call me whatever you want, in your language that is!! I live in the United States of America! I reside in the state of Indiana, which is considered in the Midwestern part of the United States, with my husband, and 3 children. I love my state!! I love small town!! I came from Ohio and glad to be away from the busyness of that state. I will always be a buckeye and love the family I have there.

I love to laugh, I love humor. I like dark humor, not that I'm a dark person, I just enjoy a good laugh!

They call us Hoosiers in Indiana.I enjoy postcrossing sooooooo much, that they know me well at the post office. I bet they make wagers on when I'll show up that day. I love music, all kinds, my favorites are from the 70's for example the Bee Gees. I really enjoy listening to Andrea Bocceli, he relaxes me. I currently have Carmen in my car. It pumps me up for the day at work!!

One musician from our state of Indiana is John Mellancamp, I do enjoy his songs, although we do not live in little pink houses, mine is blue : ) Also I've never met Jack and Diane, but I do have
some cousins that are named Jack and Diane.

My grandpa Medve came to America from Hungary when he was a teenager. I'm glad he did for I'd have never been able to postcross with you my friend! My grandmother's parents came to America from Hungary and she was born an American. I hold my Hungarian heritage close to my heart and am proud of it! Someday I will visit!

I work for a printing company. We print catalogs. I ship all
over the world and now find myself relating the country I've shipped to the postcard I've either sent or received.
We print bind and ship all in one building, I work more on the shipping end.

I will try to send you a postcard from a place I've visited, or the town live in. Maybe a place of interest. Maybe just one I find humorous : )

I find telling me about what you have had to eat that day, or maybe your favorite dish to eat, I find what people are eating or doing as they are writing their card to me is very interesting. What you are currently doing, or maybe something you got to do recently, maybe over the weekend, weekends are our "go do something fun" days.
I just received a postcard from Russia. Polly was her name and she gave me a recipe and that was soooo exciting. I just got it and will soon try to make this Russian Beet Salad-vinaigrette : )

I'm not picky about what I receive. For something to surprise me at my post office box is the thrill I look forward to. Although I do adore Orangutans!! I'm just excited to receive postcards from my new friends all over this wonderful world!
Or.........tell me a joke : )

God Bless,
Becky Hess
