Aloha Friends! My name is Cindi and I live in Kauai, Hawaii with my son Lansen! Ever since I was a little girl, I've loved all things mail. When I was 10 years old, I received my very first postcard in the mail and it's been a love affair ever since! Over the years Postcrossing bas become such a joy for me - not only do I enjoy sending and receiving postcards in the mail, but getting to know each and every one of you! I enjoy making new friendships with people from all over the world! I also love that I get to travel the world, one postcard at a time!
Not only do I enjoy collecting postcards, but I also enjoy collecting stamps! I especially love vintage stamps!
If you are interested in doing a direct swap with me, whether it is a one-time swap or a long-term one, please feel free to message me! I look forward to hearing from you & swapping with you!
♡ I am a huge fan of Japanese culture and art. I enjoy Ukiyo-e very much, I especially love Bijin-ga! If you have a favorite Ukiyo-e Artist, please feel free to introduce their artwork with me!
♡ I enjoy maiko / geisha / kimono postcards. I am very fascinated with kimonos- I love seeing the different patterns and prints!
♡ We don't get much seasonal change here in Hawaii. With that said, I am very fascinated by postcards that depict the different seasons: Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter. So if you have postcards showing any of the four seasons, feel free to send them my way!
♡ I enjoy typical "touristy" postcards showing scenic views, city skylines, nature, national parks, popular landmarks, fireworks, castles, volcanoes or even map cards of your country!
♡ Mail-themed postcards are always welcome!
♡ I am a a huge fan of Snoopy & the Peanuts Gang! I adore Snoopy town Postcards from Japan! I love Hello Kitty too (hence my username)! Hello Kitty has been my favorite Sanrio character ever since I was a little girl!
♡ Please know that I will be happy and grateful for whatever postcard you decide to send me! I am most excited to hear from you... the postcard is just an added bonus!
♡ I prefer my postcards sent without an envelope - stamped and written; I like the cards I receive to show the journey they have been on! I truly enjoy the backside of the postcard just as much as the front- I love seeing what the sender wrote, the way they decorated their postcard and what postage stamp(s) they decided to share with me!
I like to "favorite" cards that catch my eye. I only favorite cards that I don't yet have in my collection! If I receive a card from my favorites, I will take the card off of my favorites list!
