Hello! My name is Aija, and I'm from Latvia.
I've been collecting postcards for nine years.

I work in the field of aviation, therefore traveling is an essential part of my life - a hobby I’ve loved since childhood. As travel opportunities are quite limited in these uncertain times, postcrossing is a unique way to explore new places and people without leaving the house!

Any kind of card is a nice surprise, but I've noticed it's a lot easier to choose what to send if receiver has specific interests. I'd be very happy to receive a postcard related to history - events, landmarks, people, fashion etc. - from your country, city or any other beautiful place around you.

It may be an old postcard, a modern postcard or an old picture printed on a modern postcard - I appreciate it all. Just don't forget to write a story on the back, so I know who you are, where you come from and what's special about you and the postcard. It's very exciting to meet new people.
