Hello,

Thank you for reading my profile.

I live on a small farm/smallholding with my partner and sometimes my son, who is at University. I currently find myself working with cancer patients and spend too much of my time indoors. So as a counterpoint I have rekindled a love of gardening and have a desire to be as self-sufficient as possible. I enjoy growing most of my plants from seed but am not averse to visiting the local garden centres!!

I also love to read, cross stitch, bake and to take our dog, Charlie, for walks. I have recently done a course in creating stained glass projects which I have found a fascinating and rewarding craft.

I would love to receive postcards of views or pictures from close to where you live, but to be honest all cards will be gratefully received. If you would like to add the date you sent the postcard and a bit about the weather on that day it would help to paint a picture for me.

If you would like to put a postcard in an envelope please feel free to add a little something - seeds, a pressed flower or leaf, an extra photo or a newspaper cutting would be great.
