Hi, I’m Kait! I am 26 years old and I’m from south central Kentucky. I’ve been postcrossing about a year now and have really enjoyed getting to be a part of this community. I work in healthcare and while it has its days… I do typically really enjoy what I do. I also make and sell handmade jewelry on the side. I’m a dog mom to a golden retriever, Scout, and I love all dogs everywhere.

I am currently recovering from living donor liver transplant surgery… I gave part of my healthy liver to a dear friend in need of a liver transplant. The surgery was a success and she and I are both healing well. When I’m not in recovery mode, I love tennis, the outdoors, swimming… really just any activity that gets me outside. I also enjoy “slower” activities like reading, art, music, movies, cooking… all things I’ve been able to spend time doing while I heal.

I’m also a HUGE Disney adult and am counting down the days until I can return to Disney World. My liver should regenerate and be both fully healed and back to its regular size by May (yep… you read that right. Livers GROWN BACK!) and then I am cleared to visit Disney World, ride all the rides, and eat all the junk food I want. I love the magic of the movies and parks and am so excited to experience it soon.
