My name is Gillian - pronounced with a soft G (a J sound). My mother is a war bride from England and this name is very common in England.

I love Juneau. I love the rain, and more especially love it when it sun shines! I love the long days of summer and long golden sunsets. I love wading my feet in the cold water until they are numb (doesn't take long)! I love the snow when it squeaks under my boots when it gets really cold.

We have a 32' boat that keeps us out on the water on as many weekends as possible. Working during the week gets in the way of taking longer boat and fishing trips. But one day . . .

I love music (direct the handbell choir at church), children, dogs, am amazed when flowers actually grow in my yard, and wine (yummy).
