Hi! My name is Danielle. I am a wildlife biologist living in Las Vegas with my boyfriend and our 2 cats. While the city is famous for its casinos and nightlife, we prefer spending time in the various national parks and nature reserves in and around the city to hike and observe wildlife.

I grew up in New Jersey, went to school in New Orleans and then lived in a bunch of different places doing seasonal wildlife work and working on my master's thesis (Oregon, Texas, Louisiana, Ecuador, Arkansas, Australia, California, and Colorado). It was a lot of fun, but I am happy to have a real bed and a stable mailbox again for Postcrossing!

I enjoy birdwatching, hiking, camping, wildlife photography, road trips, vegan cooking, video games (especially Nintendo SNES/N64!) and of course postcard collecting! I also love traveling when I have the opportunity. My favorite country that I've visited is Costa Rica and I would love to return there someday!

My postcard preferences are:

-Typical tourist cards
-Map cards
-Scenic landscape views
-City/landmark views
-Flags
-Corny jokes (Fellow Americans: I am especially fond of the super cheesy/punny cards you find at truck stops and such!)
-Surprises! These are just preferences, I'm happy to receive anything :)

If possible, I prefer cards that have some sort of label/writing on the front so I know what I'm looking at if I stick it on my wall. I also prefer them written and stamped, not in an envelope.

My only request is **NOT** to receive cards with meat, hunting, fishing, etc. I also would prefer not to receive Christmas cards.
