I live in Oakland, California. Oakland is like the little sister to San Francisco. We have a lake in the middle of the city, mountains, and are close enough to get to the ocean. I was born here and love my hometown.

I like walking, taking photos, trying to make art, mostly mixed media, reading and writing. I read mostly non-fiction, but am in a Jane Austen book club. I love antiques and vintage and like to find old treasures on ebay and in thift stores. I also like to speak Spanish whenever I get a chance to practice. Stuff that really makes me smile: zebras, meerkats, sunflowers, hummingbirds, hydrangeas, feathers and sand dollars, but lots of other things make me smile as well.

I am looking forward to connecting to people from all over the world and also really like the idea of connecting in the old fashioned way of writing postcards as opposed to connecting through technology. I am analog at heart.
