I like to sing, play the ukulele, read, paint, eat, and cook - not all at once. My current pile of books to read includes Amy Tan, Bill Bryson, Aldous Huxley, Carol Marine, Isabelle Allende and Jesse Klein. I just finished my first quilt.

I love being in libraries and museums and nature. I want to travel a lot more than I can afford to. I keep trying to learn to speak Spanish - and in a pinch I can give instructions to a taxi driver and then make polite conversation, if the taxi driver is incredibly patient.

I'm just excited about getting postcards. For anyone who wants more specific ideas, I like humor, art, weird stuff, botanicals, designs, animals, foreign languages, historical stuff, feminism, books, recipes, learning about other cultures and countries.

What to write .. anything you like, but here are some ideas for you:
