About Andy...

To me, Postcrossing should be what the sender wants to send, not a list of wishes from the recipient. Each postcard is a gift of object, expense, and time. So please send any kind of postcard, whatever you wish to share with me as that gift.

I know some people want suggestions so:

If you have a card that you look at and think that there's nobody you could ever send it to, send that one to me.

I enjoy funny, strange, ugly, odd cards very much. I'm OK with nudes and erotica (especially men) and whatever else you might be nervous about sending.

I also like map cards, close-up/macro shots, and vintage movie/Hollywood photos.

For potential swappers: I am only interested in swapping to receive strange, ugly, or odd postcards.

I am an avid knitter (find me on Ravelry with the same username). I also love to read, collect and use both pencils and fountain pens, cook, solve word puzzles, walk, travel… lots of hobbies. I enjoy music, especially classical and opera, but other types too. I love nature, especially birds, flowers, and mountains.

I have lived in (in chronological order): Ohio, West Virginia (many different towns), Virginia (central), Texas (Houston), California (Los Angeles), Virginia (DC suburbs), Vermont (Burlington), and California (southern). I now live in Palm Springs, California, a desert resort city.

I live about 90 minutes from Disneyland. I like to go often, about once a month or so.

I have traveled to Canada, Mexico, United Kingdom (England and Scotland), Ireland, Austria, France, Switzerland, Italy, Spain, Slovakia, Hungary, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan, United Arab Emirates, India, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Malaysia, and Singapore.. Where to go next?

I hiked the Tour du Mont Blanc (France-Italy-Switzerland) in 2006. I bicycled from Vienna, Austria to Budapest, Hungary in 2013. Those have been my two "trip of a lifetime" experiences.
