About Elise...

Hi, I'm Elise, and I live in NYC, but I am originally from New Orleans. I love to travel and read. I also enjoy playing the piano, ballet, crocheting, yoga, and ice skating.

I would love to receive postcards from all over the world, preferably ones with pictures of your city/village, culture, religion. I also like old/vintage postcards and even handmade postcards if you're the creative type. These are just suggestions, but I promise I will love anything you send.

Here are some things I like:
• Architecture
• Art (especially Impressionism)
• Autumn
• Ballet (or any type of dance)
• Balloons
• The Beatles
• Bicycles
• Black and white
• Books
• Children's book characters
• Chocolate
• Churches
• Cities/towns/villages
• Dogs
• Elephants
• Fireworks
• Flowers
• Food
• Harry Potter
• History
• Hot air balloons
• Lighthouses
• Mountains
• Musical instruments
• Nature/landscapes
• Old windmills
• Olympics
• People/children
• Photography
• Rain
• Religion
• Shaped postcards
• Skylines
• Snow
• Sunsets
• Tea
• Trains
• Traveling
• Umbrellas
• UNESCO World Heritage Sites
• Yellow

On your postcard, feel free to write about anything at all. I'd appreciate a recommendation of a book you think I should read (available in English, please), your favorite joke, a sentence in your language, something about you, what inspires you or makes you happy, a description of the stamp or picture on the postcard, or suggestions of things to do/sites to see when traveling in your area.

If possible, please write the date on your card.

I would love to receive birthday cards in November or Christmas cards in December. Any holiday cards are welcome (especially holidays specific to your country, religion, or culture) as long as it is sent close to that holiday.

I don't collect stamps, but I really enjoy seeing a nice one on a postcard. Maybe I'll start a collection someday!

If it's not too much trouble, I would really like it if you could send me little things from your country. For example, a bus ticket, a newspaper article, tea, or anything that you can easily fit in an envelope. It would really make my day!

If you have made it this far through my profile, congratulations! You are a very patient person! :)

I look forward to receiving your postcard soon!
Happy Postcrossing!
