I'm studying English and Philosophy at the University of Hull in England, UK. Hull is UK City of Culture in 2017, so it's set to be an exciting few years ahead for the city! I'm originally from Derby, England, which is in a beautiful part of the UK that includes the Peak District.

I love my course and I've always enjoyed reading and writing, hence why I fancied doing a postcard exchange as well! There's a unique pleasure in sending and receiving postcards thanks to the limited space and the images that you can present on them, and I'm quite old-school in that I love "snail mail"! It's so much more satisfying than electronic mail.

Travel and meeting new people is something I love. It's fascinating to learn about other cultures and places, and I'd like to do a Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) course after graduation to have the opportunity to explore the big wide world a bit more! If you get matched with me, I'd love to hear about your life, your country/city and any book recommendations you have - I need to get a list together for the long summer vacation!
