Hi! My name is Emily. I live in New England with my wonderful husband and two well-loved cats, Oliver and Sara. I am an LCSW (social worker) and I like working with people because there's never a dull moment and you can learn something from everybody.

I love furry animals, the fall season, potatoes, playing tennis (even though I'm not very good at it), playing ping pong (which I am very good at), thrift shopping, and getting a good report at the dentist. I have an enormous sweet tooth...

I appreciate a good book, a quick wit, a relaxing massage, an unexpected genuine compliment, and wearing soft comfortable clothes. The fancier the event, the more uncomfortable I feel. A few of my goals are learning to play the mandolin, writing a book, and getting back into shape enough to resume running 5ks which I did years ago.

I have always enjoyed snail mail and I am so happy to have stumbled across this wonderful avenue for putting to good use the postcards I have been collecting! As well as a great excuse to get more :)

I am looking forward to receiving all types of postcards- I would particularly enjoy hearing about what you like/don't like about where you live, a favorite hobby of yours or a favorite quote, one of your life goals, something funny that happened to you, or really anything at all that happens to be on your mind at the time.
